迎難直上敢爭奇

Fearless

In mighty storm
a stone lion

A sage beyond mortals
in perseverance

Tempering and forging ahead
how to fear risk

Meeting the difficulties
going straight up
dare to contend strange things

半嶺流霞春伏筆
一湖野鴨水知音
芭蕉夜雨滴君夢
蘆荻秋風慰妾心


Too Beautiful To Be Absorbed All At Once

The wild ducks in a lake
water knew quacks
Half a ridge of the flowing clouds
spring foreshadowing

Night rain of the bananas dropped
into your dream
To comfort my wife’s heart
arundo donax brought autumn wind
